What the Programme Looks Like
The Mondi Engineering Technicians in Training Programme is a 12‑month workplace training path split into six months of P1 and six months of P2. It takes place at Mondi’s plant in Richards Bay, South Africa. You’ll work side‑by‑side with engineers while gaining hands‑on experience in your chosen field: Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
After you finish the training, you’ll be eligible to apply for a National Diploma, which can open doors to many technical jobs across the country.
Who Should Apply?
- Have finished S4 in Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering at a recognised University of Technology.
- Hold at least a 60 % average.
- Finished your studies within the last 24 months.
- Possess a valid South African driver’s licence.
- Are ready to do both P1 and P2 training.
- Have basic computer skills – SAP or Microsoft Office is a plus.
