Tips to Make Your Application Stand Out
Many applicants struggle with a lack of experience. From experience, most successful candidates do three things:
- Show enthusiasm – explain why you want to work in the automotive sector.
- Highlight soft skills – teamwork, communication, and a willingness to learn are key.
- Include any relevant volunteering, school leadership or part‑time jobs – even small roles matter.
If this is your first time applying, don’t worry. Keep your CV clear, keep the cover letter brief and focus on what you can bring to the team.

Apply before 13 March 2026 and give yourself a solid start in a growing industry. Remember, the programme is free and open to all South African citizens who meet the basic criteria. Good luck, and keep your fingers crossed – you could be on your way to a rewarding career in the automotive world.
